Right to Work: A Bad Deal for Small Business
The state legislature soon will consider House Bill 821,
a measure to make New Hampshire a "right to work"
state. If passed, New Hampshire will join low-wage states
like Alabama, Arkansas and Mississippi that have similar laws.
Pushed primarily by large out-of-state corporations -- not
New Hampshire small businesses -- HB 821 will lower wages,
cut benefits, weaken local economies and force our citizens
to leave the state to find better paying jobs elsewhere.
Don't be fooled: we have much to lose if "right to work"
passes. That's why small businesses all across the state are
lining up in opposition.

will hurt small businesses and join
