ASBA-OK Issues

The Oklahoma Chapter of ASBA focuses on the issues that matter most to our state's small businesses.

Education -- Our leaders must do more to ensure that our children are provided a quality education. ASBA-OK is working to recruit, train and retain good teachers; give schools more resources and flexibility; and strenghten academic accountability.

Health Care -- We fight for reforms that will make health care more accessible and affordable for all Oklahomans.

Taxes and Regulations -- ASBA-OK is working to reduce and simplify the tax and regulatory burdens faced by the state's small businesses.

State Question 695 -- ASBA-OK is opposing 695, the so-called "right-to-work" initiative, because it will lower wages, reduce benefits, and make it harder for small businesses to compete against large corporations.

Technology -- Nearly every small business today relies on technology. ASBA-OK serves as a watchdog to ensure that personal freedoms are protected while maintaining a safe and competitve landscape.
