ASBA Continues Fight for Strong Patient's Bill of Rights

ASBA has not let up in its efforts to pass a strong, enforceable Patient's Bill of Rights that will benefit America's small businesses.

ASBA's drive seemed to have paid off when the Senate passed a bipartisan bill, but that victory was short-lived. Caving into pressure from the insurance industry and old-line business lobby, the House voted along party lines and passed its own watered-down version. Throughout this battle, ASBA members have come to Washington to speak out in favor of this important legislation, and we will continue to fight.
